Lunch with C.S. Lewis
Join us for Lunch With C.S. Lewis
Mondays in October and December
First Presbyterian Church of Tulsa Join Rev. Cameron Beaty for Lunch With C.S. Lewis on Mondays in October at First Presbyterian Church of Tulsa. Bring your lunch or purchase one at the church and spend an hour in conversation about The Screwtape Letters.
Many at First Church remember Dr. Jim Miller’s long tradition of lunchtime studies. Rev. Beaty is glad to begin that tradition again and welcome church members and friends from across the community. C.S. Lewis was one of the 20th century’s best-known Christian writers. In The Screwtape Letters, he uses an imaginative exchange of letters to explore temptation, the human heart and the ways we can lose sight of God. Together, we’ll consider the questions Lewis raises and the hope we find in Jesus.
