AWANA Clubs

Why AWANA?

AWANA is a global children's ministry program rooted in the idea that children can have fun while learning God’s Word — that capturing a child’s sense of fun enhances his/her learning. We know that when children learn God’s truth at a young age, they are more likely to stay connected to a Church family and to their beliefs.

https://onrealm.org/firstchurc...AWANA Clubs provide weekly programs and special events that introduce kids to Christ and build a biblical foundation for faith. Club materials instill a Bible-based worldview through kid-sized fun, positive relationships with qualified leaders and Scripture memory that lays the groundwork for long-term spiritual maturity. AWANA Clubs serve children from age 2 through fifth grade.

PUGGLES (2-3 year-olds)

Puggles welcomes toddlers each week with play time, songs and simple crafts and activities. Leaders present age-appropriate lessons using large, colorful teaching cards, and more. Participating in Puggles will give your child a head start on the path to loving and following God for life.

CUBBIES (3-5 year-olds)

Cubbies celebrates the spiritual potential of preschoolers by helping them develop respect for God, His Son and His Word. Cubbies is a structured program that includes basic Bible memory, participation-focused games and parent involvement in their children’s learning. Children learn that God is the source of all truth and the Bible is His Word.

Sparks (K-2nd grade)

Sparks ignites the curiosity of early elementary kids to learn about the people and events of the Bible. Over the course of three years, children are led on a chronological, systematic journey through the entire Bible. To earn their Sparky Award, a children finish three handbooks, which involves reciting 166 verses and completing 37 activities on missions, witnessing, patriotism, prayer and creation.

Truth & Training (3rd-4th grade)

Truth & Training equips leaders to guide kids through this pivotal life stage to grow in the grace of Christ. With a strong emphasis on discipleship and service, T&T curriculum helps kids apply biblical truth and God’s grace in daily living with family, friends and others. T&T also introduces a 10-year motivational system where participants can earn nationally recognized awards and even college scholarships.

AWANA kids need you!

The research is indisputable: adult teachers and mentors play an incredible role in establishing a child's faith... and you don't have to have a religious degree or special expertise to make a big impact. There are multiple levels to engage in AWANA; some as simple as offering a word of encouragement and a listening ear.
