First Church Choristers Rehearsal

Fall enrollment for the Choristers is now closed. Registration for the Children's Nativity Musical is also closed. Spring choir enrollment will begin in December.

The First Church Choristers is open to children Age 5 - 4th grade. Enrollment is required and consistent attendance is requested. Fall enrollment is open in August & September; Spring enrollment is open in December & January. (Separate sign-ups will be opened for the Nativity Musical and Spring Choir Musical.)

Students who enroll in the First Church Choristers will learn rich theology and Biblical truth through songs, hymns, and musicals. Along with that, they will learn good choral singing techniques, basic music theory and history, and basic chime and hand bell ringing. They will also learn to serve as acolytes and liturgists. The Choristers will have many opportunities to lead worship in a meaningful way for services and special events throughout the year. A highlight for Fall 2023 will be singing with Keith & Kristyn Getty for their Irish Christmas Concert on Dec. 4!!

Sun, Oct 1 – World Communion Sunday, 11:00 AM Sanctuary (combined service)
Sun, Oct 29 – Reformation Sunday & Dr. Miller's last Sunday, 11:00 AM Sanctuary (combined service)
Sun, Dec 3/10/17/24 – Advent Candle Lighting, 11:00 AM services (locations TBD)
Mon, Dec 4 – Sing! An Irish Christmas Concert with Keith & Kristyn Getty! 7:00 PM Sanctuary
Wed, Dec 20 – Special performance of the Nativity Musical, 5:15 PM Dinner/6:00 PM Sanctuary
Sun, Dec 24 – Christmas Eve Worship/Nativity Musical, 5:00 PM Sanctuary
