Camp Sunshine 2024

Camp Sunshine is an annual event sponsored by the Board of Deacons that offers a day camp experience to children who are living with special needs and battling illnesses. The campers arrive at 11:00 a.m. and the children and their families are invited to enjoy the day at Camp Loughridge, complete with crafts, boating, giant swing, and swimming. Volunteers are needed to help make this event a success. Volunteers must be at least 12 years old. In order to help keep the focus on the safety and needs of the campers and their family members, we respectfully request that volunteers do not bring their young children with them.
