A set of 32 bronze bells, cast in France by the Paccard Foundry, arrived at First Presbyterian Church in October 2007 for installation in the Sanctuary tower. They can be played in real time by a single manual keyboard or by programmed recording. The largest bell weighs 3,200 pounds and the smallest 45 pounds. Four swinging bells peal every Sunday, during weddings, and on other festive occasions. They ring with a 30-minute musical program across downtown Tulsa each weekday at noon and 5 p.m. and strike on the hour from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The bells were a gift of Doris Maher, in memory of her husband, Mac, and by Pat Wheeler, in memory of her son, Mark.
