“To serve as Christ’s ambassadors in a broken and hurting world.”
A mission is a biblical mandate to go into the world to make disciples, to teach the commands of Christ, to serve the poor, and to share the Gospel with the lost and hurting. First Presbyterian Church believes in ministering to those in need by working directly with indigenous ministries. Through its Global Mission Partnerships, FPC can ensure that the churches on the ground in these nations have the resources to carry on after the missions team comes home.
At First Presbyterian Church, every member of a mission program is a minister. While the global missions team serves by going, church members who offer prayer and support also are an essential part of our global missions effort. Please contact Rachael Kamaru in the mission office at 918-301-1039 to learn more about many ongoing and upcoming mission opportunities at First Church.
