Send-Off for Rev. Ryan Moore
Join us for a send-off for Rev. Ryan Moore and family
After serving First Church Tulsa for nine years, Co-Pastor Ryan Moore will be joining First Presbyterian Church of Nashville. On Sunday, October 27, we celebrate his service to our congregation. Make plans now to stay after the 11 a.m. service in the sanctuary for this very special celebration. We will also have a reception in Stephenson Hall afterwards.
A little about Ryan:
Ryan Moore was born and raised in Upland, Indiana. In 1999, he graduated with a degree in economics from Wheaton College. He received his Master of Divinity from Duke Divinity School in 2004 and his Ph.D. in theology from the University of St. Andrews, Scotland in 2017.
Ryan was first called as a Lake Fellow in Parish Ministry to Second Presbyterian Church, Indianapolis. He then served in an interim capacity at Tabernacle Presbyterian Church, Indianapolis. In 2008, Moore joined First Presbyterian Church, Tulsa, as Associate Pastor.
From 2011 to 2013, Ryan and his family lived in St. Andrews, Scotland. His wife, Heather, is a practicing attorney in the field of tax-exempt law, and together they have two sons, and a daughter. In 2013, Ryan received a call to return to First Presbyterian Church. Sunday, October 27 will be his last day at our Church and we send he and his family to Nashville with our love.
