Tidings

First Presbyterian Church, Tulsa produces a bi-monthly magazine titled Tidings. This publication is mailed directly to member's homes. It is also available in the literature racks of both the Narthex of the church building and the Great Hall lobby of the Bernsen Community Life Center; in the east Church entrance inside the portico; and online, by clicking on the links below.

Tidings includes some calendar information, but it is primarily a First Church story of discipleship and testimony to the work and person of Jesus Christ. Each issue includes stories of members involved in various ministries of the church, articles about developing spiritual disciplines, and opportunities to help you grow as a disciple.

From the first chapter of Genesis to the last chapter of Revelation, water plays a fundamental role in God’s plan for creation. It nurtures, cleanses, remakes and renews. It figures prominently in miracles and metaphors. And its power, mystery and necessity are so universal that Jesus refers to himself as “Living Water”.
